Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 194204-71-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,9,4,2,0 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 194204-71:
(8*1)+(7*9)+(6*4)+(5*2)+(4*0)+(3*4)+(2*7)+(1*1)=132
132 % 10 = 2
So 194204-71-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A Molecular Replication Process Drives Supramolecular Polymerization

Feng, Yuanning,Philp, Douglas

supporting information, p. 17029 - 17039 (2021/10/25)

Supramolecular polymers are materials in which the connections between monomers in the polymer main chain are non-covalent bonds. This area has seen rapid expansion in the last two decades and has been exploited in several applications. However, suitable

Synthesis and Properties of Triphenodioxazine-Based Conjugated Polymers for Polymer Solar Cells

Gong, Xiaohui,Han, Pei,Wen, Hui,Sun, Ying,Zhang, Xueqin,Yang, Hong,Lin, Baoping

, p. 3689 - 3698 (2017/07/22)

As a fused-ring conjugated unit, triphenodioxazine, has been applied in two series of thiophene-free conjugated polymers for polymer solar cells. The polymers were synthesized through a multi-step synthetic route, and the substituents had a great effect on the reactivity of the reactants. Relationships among the polymer structures as well as thermal, optical, and electrochemical properties were investigated in detail by experimental data analysis and theoretical simulation. The polymers possess highly planar backbones, broad Vis/NIR absorption bands, suitable frontier molecular orbital energies, and low band gaps ranging from 1.3 to 1.8 eV. The power conversion efficiencies of their photovoltaic devices are about 1 %. Introducing longer alkyl side chains into a polymer can bring about a better film-forming ability and improve the photovoltaic performance.

Synthesis of novel platinum complex core as a selective Ag+ sensor and its H-bonded tetrads self-assembled with triarylamine dendrimers for electron/energy transfers

Lin, Hong-Cheu,Shellaiah, Muthaiah,Ramakrishnam Raju, Mandapati V.,Singh, Ashutosh,Lin, Hsin-Chieh,Wei, Kung-Hwa

, p. 17463 - 17476 (2014/12/12)

A novel platinum complex PtC with a tri-armed uracil hydrogen-bonded (H-bonded) unit was synthesized via a modular synthetic approach and characterized by 1H, 13C NMR and MALDI-TOF mass spectroscopies. Two H-bonded tetrads, PtC-(TPAD1)3 and PtC-(TPAD2)3, based on a metal core PtC complexed with two generations of triarylamine dendrimers, TPAD1 and TPAD2 (with electron-donating nature), were successfully constructed with improved organic solubility via a classical H-bonded self-assembly approach. Supramolecular H-bonding in solution and solid state was elucidated by 1H NMR titrations, IR spectral studies and time resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) measurements. The electron/energy transfers, as well as the self-assemblies of supramolecular tetrads, were established by UV-Vis and PL titrations and AFM morphological studies. Furthermore, metal complex core PtC showed selective sensitivity towards Ag+ ions through fluorescence turn-off responses without any interference from other common metal ions. The 1:1 binding stoichiometry and complexation mechanism between the probe and Ag+ ion was established by 1H NMR titration. Moreover, PL reversibility of PtC + Ag+ could be achieved on addition of PMDTA.

supporting information, p. 665 - 676 (2014/03/21)

A series of H-bonded supramolecular architectures were built from monofunctional M-Ci - C-R and bifunctional R-Ci - C-M-Ci - C-R trans-alkynylbis(1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane)ruthenium(II) complexes and π-conjugated modules containing 2,5-dialkoxy-p-p

supporting information, p. 7532 - 7546 (2013/06/27)

π-Conjugated thienylene-phenylene oligomers with fluorinated and dialkoxylated phenylene fragments have been designed and prepared to understand the interactions in fragment orbitals, the influence of the substituents (F, OMe) on the HOMO-LUMO gap, and th

Supramolecular ordering, thermal behavior, and photophysical, electrochemical, and electroluminescent properties of alkoxy-substituted yne-containing poly(phenylene-vinylene)s

Egbe, Daniel Ayuk Mbi,Carbonnier, Benjamin,Ding, Liming,Muehlbacher, David,Birckner, Eckhard,Pakula, Tadeusz,Karasz, Frank E.,Grummt, Ulrich-Walter

, p. 7451 - 7463 (2007/10/03)

The synthesis and the characterization of defect-free alkoxy-substituted yne-containing poly(phenylene-vinylenes) was investigated. It was found that a degree of 7 was obtained for all the polymers enabling a reliable comparison of their properties as a function of the length and geometry of the grafted side chains. A formation of crystalline superstructures of either spherulitic-like or rodlike morphology was identified as following typical nucleation and growth process for polymer having a symmetric substitution pattern. Results show that the high absorption coefficients and high quantum yields in the solid state combined with enhanced oxidation stability made polymers as potential donor materials in the design of organic solar cells.

, p. 4997 - 5003 (2007/10/03)

The synthesis and characterization of two new soluble poly(p-phenylenevinylenes) (PPVs) are reported. The polymers are poly(2-(2′,5′-bis(octyloxy)benzene)-1,4-phenylenevinylene) (BOP-PPV) and poly(2-(2′,5′-bis(octyloxy)benzene)-5-methoxy-1,4-phenyleneviny
