-
Paragraph 0043; 0060-0063, (2019/12/25)
The invention relates to the field of a fluorescence probe, and particularly relates to preparation and application of a pyrenes 2-(2-methylthiopyridine)aniline Schiff base Zn fluorescence probe. The probe has the following concrete structure formula shown in the description. The fluorescence probe can be used for recognizing Zn in a methanol solution. The fluorescence probe has the advantages that the excellent selectivity is shown in other ion competition; higher fluorescence sensing property is realized; the detection limit is low; the sensitivity is high; the fluorescent quantum yield is high.
Electronic structure of thioether containing NSNO donor azo-ligand and its copper(II) complex: Experimental and theoretical studies

Synthesis of thioether containing NSNO donor azo ligand (HL) showing hydrazoketo and azoenol tautomerism has been performed. The hydrazoketo and azoenol equilibrium of HL has been studied. The hydrazoketo form of HL is predominating over azoenol form. In
Visible light excitable fluorescence probe and its functionalized Merrifield polymer: Selective sensing and removal of arsenate from real samples

A visible light excitable new fluorescence probe (APC) has been used for determination of arsenate in drinking water of Purbasthali in West Bengal, India. APC-functionalized Merrifield polymer is very efficient for removal of arsenate from contaminated water. APC can successfully monitor intracellular arsenate in microbes grown in arsenate affected water under a fluorescence microscope. Arsenate induced fluorescence enhancement of APC has been rationalized from intra-molecular H-bonding assisted conversion of TICT to PICT, supported by 1H NMR titration and mass spectrometry studies.

Coupling of arylthioether diazonium salts with acetylacetone in NaOH medium produced the hexadentate ligand HL. This ligand can undergo keto-enol tautomerism in solution. It acts as a monoanionic hexadentate (N,S,N,N,S,N) chelator and forms 1:1 isostructural complexes, [Ni(L)](ClO4) (1) and [Cu(L)](ClO4) (2), with Ni(II) and Cu(II) respectively. The complexes have been characterized by spectral analysis. The pseudo octahedral geometries of the complexes are confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The X-ray and spectral characterizations confirmed the existence of the keto form of the ligand in the complexes. The electronic structures and spectral properties of the ligand and the complexes have been explained by DFT and TDDFT calculations.
A FRET operated sensor for intracellular pH mapping: Strategically improved efficiency on moving from an anthracene to a naphthalene derivative

Two novel fluorescent probes based on anthracene (AAC) and naphthalene (ANC) have been synthesised and characterised. Both the AAC and ANC derivative show green fluorescence at basic pH, but at acidic pH AAC is non-fluorescent, while ANC emits red light. This is attributed primarily to the FRET on-off processes. ANC has better pH discrimination abilities than AAC and can be used to distinguish between different pH environments inside a living cell for the first time. The Royal Society of Chemistry 2013.

The severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) coronavirus 3CL protease is an attractive target for the development of anti-SARS drugs. In this paper, cinanserin (1) analogs were synthesized and tested for the inhibitory activities against SARS-coronavirus (CoV) 3CL protease by fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) assay. Four analogs show significant activities, especially compound 26 with an IC50 of 1.06 μM.
