200880-42-8 Usage
Description
DSPG, also known as 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoglycerol, is a phospholipid molecule with phosphate polar head connected to two non-polar lipid (stearic acid) by a glycerol molecule. In water, the molecule can orient itself into lipid bilayer and can be used for drug encapsulation, such as drug loaded liposomes or nanoparticles.
Uses
1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-rac-(1-glycerol) Sodium Salt is used to prepare polyethyleneglycol-modified liposomal doxorubicin for therapies against drug resistant tumors. It is also used in the PEGylated liposomal drug formulation of the anti-cancer agent oxaliplatin.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 200880-42-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,0,0,8,8 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 200880-42:
(8*2)+(7*0)+(6*0)+(5*8)+(4*8)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*2)=98
98 % 10 = 8
So 200880-42-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Preparation process of distearoyl phosphatidylglycerol sodium
-
Paragraph 0038; 0061-0070; 0100-0106, (2021/09/08)
The invention relates to a preparation process of distearoyl phosphatidylglycerol (DSPGNa), wherein the route is centered on the intermediate phosphorus oxygen bond, and the compound is split into butt joint of two segments. The glycerol end is firstly connected to the phosphorus oxygen bond, then the intermediate 7 is connected, and the utilization rate of the intermediate 7 which is relatively expensive is increased as much as possible.
