A method of preparing diphenylamino disulfide by using an accelerator M is disclosed. The method includes steps of reacting 2-mercaptobenzothiazole at 250-300 DEG C to remove a mercapto group, cooling, adding a saturated aqueous alkali solution, reacting under refluxing at 130-150 DEG C, cooling to 50 DEG C or below after the reaction is finished, and adding dropwise hydrogen peroxide to perform an oxidation reaction to obtain the diphenylamino disulfide. The method is performed under atmospheric pressure, thus avoiding the danger coefficient of high-pressure reactions. The method utilizes the saturated alkali solution to perform alkali dissolution, thus reducing generation of waste water, allowing the reaction to proceed toward a positive reaction direction at a greater degree, and increasing the raw material conversion ratio and the yield. A prepared product is yellow solid powder. Indexes of each aspect are excellent. The yield is higher than 80%. The method has good economic benefit.
