Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 215247-95-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,1,5,2,4 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 215247-95:
(8*2)+(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*2)+(4*4)+(3*7)+(2*9)+(1*5)=123
123 % 10 = 3
So 215247-95-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 318 - 325 (2016/08/20)
An efficient new method for the preparation of triphenodioxazines (TPDOs) using p-chloranil as oxidizing agent in conc. H2SO4 under microwave irradiation at 120°C is reported. This method is more efficient than the previously described microwave method using potassium persulfate as oxidising agent in conc. H2SO4 as it provides the cyclized product within 8-10 minutes with comparatively higher yields.
