?***? Interactions of Flavins, 3. Isoalloxazinophanes and Arene-Bridged Bis(isoalloxazines): Syntheses, Characterizations and Properties Related to Intramolecular Interactions
Staab, Heinz A.,Kirsch, Peer,Zipplies, Matthias F.,Weinges, Alexa,Krieger, Claus
, p. 1653 - 1666 (2007/10/02)
In order to study the orientation and distance dependence of ?***? interactions between flavins in various redox states, two approaches to bis(isoalloxazine) model compounds are presented: The isoalloxazinophanes 2 and 4 and the rigid single-bridged
Syntheses and Reactivity of Bisflavins. Oxidation of N-Benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide by Flavins in Aqueous Solution
Yano, Yumihiko,Ohya, Eiichi
, p. 1227 - 1232 (2007/10/02)
Several bisflavins linked at the 10,10'-positions of isoalloxazine rings have been synthesized. The kinetics of the oxidation of N-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide in aqueous solution have been examined. It has been found that each flavin of a bisflavin is considerably influenced by another intramolecular flavin moiety due to the formation of a charge-transfer complex between intramolecularly reduced and oxidized flavins. The formation of the complex depends on the conformation.
UNUSUAL KINETIC BEHAVIOR OF BIS-FLAVIN FOR N-BENZYL-1,4-DIHYDRONICOTINAMIDE (BNAH) REDUCTION IN AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION
Yano, Yumihiko,Ohya, Eiichi
, p. 1281 - 1284 (2007/10/02)
Several bis-flavins linked at 10,10'-positions of isoalloxazine rings were synthesized. The reactivity of each flavin of a bis-flavin was found to be considerably influenced by another intramolecular flavin moiety, depending on the conformation of the bis-
