Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 223773-08-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,2,3,7,7 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 223773-08:
(8*2)+(7*2)+(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*7)+(3*3)+(2*0)+(1*8)=128
128 % 10 = 8
So 223773-08-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Total syntheses of surinone B, alatanones A–B, and trineurone A

Gundoju, Narayana Rao,Bokam, Ramesh,Yalavarthi, Nageswara Rao,Buddana, Sudheer Kumar,Prakasham,Ponnapalli, Mangala Gowri

, p. 1 - 8 (2018/04/30)

The total syntheses of four polyketides, surinone B (1), alatanones A–B (2–3), and trineurone A (4) were accomplished through an efficient and unified strategy via one-pot C-acylation reaction coupling 1,3-cyclohexadiones with EDC-activated acids under mild conditions. Alatanone A (2) was found to be a potent anti-microbial agent against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria with MIC 31.25?μg/ml while alatanone B (3) was found to be a potent anti-fungal agent against Cladosporium cladosporioides with MIC 62.5?μg/ml compared to cycloheximide MIC 125?μg/ml. Our methodology allows performing kilogram scale of these scarce polyketides for the development of new antimicrobials.

Tuning reactivity and chemoselectivity in electron transfer initiated cyclization reactions: Applications to carbon-carbon bond formation

Seiders II, John R.,Wang, Lijun,Floreancig, Paul E.

, p. 2406 - 2407 (2007/10/03)

In this communication, we demonstrate that the scope of our electron transfer initiated cyclization reaction can be significantly broadened by exploiting the relationship between the oxidation potentials of homobenzylic ethers and the mesolytic benzylic c

Novel chiral bidentate η5-cyclopentadienylphosphine ligands: Their asymmetric induction at the ruthenium(II) center and application in catalysis

Trost, Barry M.,Vidal, Bernat,Thommen, Marc

, p. 1055 - 1069 (2007/10/03)

The syntheses of four classes of novel ruthenium(II) complexes with chiral bidentate cyclopentadienylphosphine ligands and their application in asymmetric catalysis are described. This approach to an enantioselective reconstitutive condensation was assist
