Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 224564-61-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,2,4,5,6 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 224564-61:
(8*2)+(7*2)+(6*4)+(5*5)+(4*6)+(3*4)+(2*6)+(1*1)=128
128 % 10 = 8
So 224564-61-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Br?nsted acid and Pd-PHOX dual-catalysed enantioselective addition of activated C-pronucleophiles to internal dienes

Park, Sangjune,Adamson, Nathan J.,Malcolmson, Steven J.

, p. 5176 - 5182 (2019)

We describe the development of Pd-PHOX-catalysed enantioselective couplings of internal dienes with malononitrile and other activated C-pronucleophiles. Reactions are dramatically accelerated by the addition of Et3N·HBArF4 as a Br?nsted acid co-catalyst, enabling a suite of products bearing a variety of alkyl substituents at the stereogenic carbon to be prepared. A series of mechanism-oriented experiments reveal key aspects of the catalytic cycle and the importance of the non-coordinating BArF4 counterion in not only promoting reactions of internal dienes but also additions of previously unreactive nucleophiles towards terminal dienes.

Influence of structural changes in ferrocene phosphane aminophosphane ligands on their catalytic activity

?ebesta, Radovan,?kvorcová, Andrea

experimental part, p. 1898 - 1902 (2009/10/01)

New phosphane aminophosphane ligands based on [3]ferrocenophane skeleton were synthesized using a direct double lithiation followed by phosphanylation. Influence of ligand structure on catalytic performance was evaluated by performing a series of Pd-catalyzed allylic substitution on different substrates. Enantioselectivities up to 55% ee were obtained with bridged ligand compared to 33% ee with analogous non-bridged BoPhoz ligand.
