Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 22553-93-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,2,5,5 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 22553-93:
(7*2)+(6*2)+(5*5)+(4*5)+(3*3)+(2*9)+(1*3)=101
101 % 10 = 1
So 22553-93-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A Versatile Room-Temperature Route to Di- and Trisubstituted Allenes Using Flow-Generated Diazo Compounds

Poh, Jian-Siang,Tran, Duc N.,Battilocchio, Claudio,Hawkins, Joel M.,Ley, Steven V.

, p. 7920 - 7923 (2015/06/30)

A copper-catalyzed coupling reaction between flow-generated unstabilized diazo compounds and terminal alkynes provides di- and trisubstituted allenes. This extremely mild and rapid transformation is highly tolerant of several functional groups. Well tolerated: A mild copper-catalyzed coupling reaction between unstabilized diazo compounds (generated in flow) and terminal alkynes is reported. The method provides di- and trisubstituted allenes with high functional-group tolerance.

Cyclopropanation using flow-generated diazo compounds

Roda, Nuria M.,Tran, Duc N.,Battilocchio, Claudio,Labes, Ricardo,Ingham, Richard J.,Hawkins, Joel M.,Ley, Steven V.

supporting information, p. 2550 - 2554 (2015/11/17)

We have devised a room temperature process for the cyclopropanation of electron-poor olefins using unstabilised diazo compounds, generated under continuous flow conditions. This protocol was applied to a wide range of different diazo species to generate f

Synthesis of acyclic ketones by catalytic, bidirectional homologation of formaldehyde with nonstabilized diazoalkanes. Application of a chiral diazomethyl(pyrrolidine) in total syntheses of erythroxylon alkaloids

Wommack, Andrew J.,Kingsbury, Jason S.

, p. 10573 - 10587 (2013/11/19)

This work offers a catalytic approach to convergent ketone assembly based upon formal and tandem C-H insertion of diazoalkanes in the presence of limiting amounts of monomeric formaldehyde, which is easily generated as a gas by thermolysis of the inexpensive and abundant paraformaldehyde (~30 USD/kg). The method forms di-, tri-, and even tetrasubstituted acetones with high efficiency, and it has streamlined a synthesis of (-)-dihydrocuscohygrine in which the absolute stereochemistry of a proline-based starting material is preserved. Assisted by the advent of new protocols for hydrazone oxidation, we also provide full details on handling non-carbonyl-stabilized diazo compounds.

Effective and highly stereoselective coupling with vinyldiazomethanes to form symmetrical trienes

Doyle, Michael P.,Yan, Ming

, p. 602 - 604 (2007/10/03)

Diazo coupling reactions are capable of forming E,E,E-trienes from cinnamaldehydes in good yield. An efficient methodology is reported for the production of styryldiazomethanes that are subsequently used with catalysis for coupling and for cyclopropanatio
