The present invention is a sunscreen cosmetic comprising a benzotriazole derivative represented by the following general formula (I) and metal oxide powder whose surface is treated with an alkylalkoxy silane. The present invention is a sunscreen cosmetic comprising an ultraviolet absorbent having absorption in the UV-A region and metal oxide powder whose surface is treated with an alkylalkoxy silane. The object of the present invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that prevents staining due to secondary adhesion to clothing. General formula (I) (In this formula, R' = a straight chain alkyl group of C1-C6 and R" = a straight chain alkyl group of C1-C3.)

The present invention is a sunscreen cosmetic comprising 2,4-bis [[4-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-2-hydroxy] phenyl]-6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine and a specific benzotriazole derivative. Also, the present invention is a sunscreen cosmetic comprising a specific benzotriazole derivative and a specific alkylaryl 1,3-propanedione silicone derivative. An object of the present invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that exhibits superior UV-A absorption capacity and excellent stability and also sufficiently dissolves 2,4-bis [[4-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-2-hydroxy] phenyl]-6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine, which has low solubility and crystallizes easily. Another object is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that can synergistically improve the ultraviolet absorption capacity of conventional ultraviolet absorbents.

The present invention is a sunscreen cosmetic comprising 4-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4'-methoxydibenzoylmethane, a benzotriazole derivative represented by the following general formula (I), and ethylhexyl 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylate. The present invention is a sunscreen cosmetic comprising hexyl diethylaminohydroxybenzoylbenzoate and a benzotriazole derivative represented by the following general formula (I). (In this formula, R' = a straight chain alkyl group of C1-C6 and R = a straight chain alkyl group of C1-C3.) The object of the present invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that prevents staining due to secondary adhesion to clothing.
