The invention discloses an environment-friendly synthesis method of a scorch retarder N-phenyl-N-trichloromethylthio benzene sulfonamide. The synthesis method comprises the following steps: controlling the temperature, dropwise adding benzene sulfonyl chloride into a mixed solution of aniline, alkali, TBAB and water, heating in stages to prepare an intermediate; after the reaction, extracting theintermediate by using an organic solvent, mixing the organic mother liquor containing the intermediate with alkali, TBAB and water, controlling the temperature, dropwise adding perchloromethyl mercaptan into the mixed solution, and heating in stages to obtain the final product. A sectional heating mode is adopted in the synthesis process of the intermediate and the product; meanwhile, alkali and aphase transfer catalyst are combined; the reaction conversion rate is increased, side reactions are reduced, the obtained product is pure white in appearance, high in purity and stable in quality, the domestic technical blank is filled up, the COD and total nitrogen content of the wastewater are sharply reduced, the strong pungent smell of perchloromethyl mercaptan in the wastewater is greatly reduced, the wastewater treatment difficulty is reduced, and the effect of clean production is achieved.
