Approche de la syntese d'α-aminonitriles en milieu organique anhydre

A Strecker-like reaction in organic medium gives two isomeric α-aminonitriles in good yield.The influence of water and temperature on the isomeric ratio is discussed.Under quasi-kinetic conditions (anhydrous medium) the isomeric ratio is 60 40 minimum in favour of the non-thermodynamic product.If the imonium ion is the intermediate, there is preferential equatorial nucleophile attack rather than axial.
