Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 232600-03-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,3,2,6,0 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 232600-03:
(8*2)+(7*3)+(6*2)+(5*6)+(4*0)+(3*0)+(2*0)+(1*3)=82
82 % 10 = 2
So 232600-03-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

An approach to the desulfurization of oligonucleotide phosphorothioates

Reese, Colin B.,Yan, Hongbin

, p. 2501 - 2504 (2007/10/03)

Protected oligonucleotide phosphorothioates are converted by a two-step procedure into oligonucleotides with standard phosphodiester internucleotide linkages. The remaining protecting groups are then removed by ammonolysis.

The H-phosphonate approach to the synthesis of oligonucleotides and their phosphorothioate analogues in solution

Reese, Colin B.,Quanlai, Song

, p. 1477 - 1486 (2007/10/03)

A new approach to the synthesis of oligonucleotides and oligonucleotide phosphorothioates in solution is described; it is based on H-phosphonate coupling [with bis(2-chlorophenyl) phosphorochloridate 22 as the coupling agent] at -40 deg C, followed by in situ sulfur transfer involving either 2-(4-chlorophenylsulfanyl)isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione 23a or 4-[(2-cyanoethyl)sulfanyl]morpholine-3,5-dione 26. The yields of the coupling and sulfur transfer reactions are virtually quantitative and, following unblocking by previously reported procedures, very pure products (d[ApC], d[TpGpApC], d[TpGp(s)ApC], d[Gp(s)A] and d[Cp(s)Tp(s)Gp(s)A]) are obtained.

A new approach to oligonucleotide synthesis in solution

Reese, Colin B.,Song, Quanlai

, p. 2027 - 2031 (2007/10/03)

A new approach, based on the use of 3'-H-phosphonate building blocks, is described for the synthesis of oligonucleotides and their phosphorothioate analogues in solution.
