Paragraph 0072; 0073; 0074; 0075; 0076, (2017/12/09)
The invention discloses an organic light-emitting material and an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) prepared from the same, and relates to the technical field of organic photoelectric materials. The material exhibits good thermal stability by introducing an anthracene-like rigid structure, the OLED is prepared from the material through diffraction, and the material is particularly used as a main body material of the OLED. The OLED has the characteristics of low driving voltage, high brightness, excellent heat resistance, high efficiency and the like, and is better than existing common OLEDs.
A 1,5-Bifunctional Organomagnesium Reagent for the Synthesis of Disubstituted Anthracenes and Anthrones
Link, Achim,Fischer, Christian,Sparr, Christof
, p. 397 - 402 (2016/12/24)
The preparation of a 1,5-bifunctional organomagnesium alkoxide reagent by a deprotonation-magnesiation sequence is described. This reagent reacts with carboxylic acid esters to incorporate the carboxyl carbon atom of the ester into the newly formed ring. The magnesium bisalkoxide resulting from this double nucleophilic attack is subsequently transformed in situ into halogenated disubstituted anthracenes, monosubstituted anthracenes, anthrones, or 9-substituted dihydroanthracene-cis-diols by variation of the acidic workup procedures.

supporting information; experimental part, p. 5079 - 5081 (2011/06/10)
A new family of phosphine ligands bearing a bulky carbazolyl scaffold is described. With the combination of ligand 2a and Pd(OAc)2, difficult tri-ortho-substituted biaryl couplings are accomplished smoothly. In particular, the catalyst loading as low as 0.02 mol% of Pd for non-activated 2,6-disubstituted aryl chloride coupling can be achieved.
The Reaction of Iodine Monochloride with Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds: Polar and Electron Transfer Pathways

Several polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were treated with iodine monochloride.Although iodination is the predominant reaction of benzenoid arenes, chlorination is the sole reaction with anthracene, phenanthrene and naphthalene compounds (except for 5), whose oxidation half-wave potentials are less than 1.58 V vs Ag/Ag(+) (0.1 M).Arenes with higher potentials are unreactive.Naphthalene (9) and its derivatives with mild electron-withdrawing substituents are chlorinated; the exception (5) yields the 1-iodo product (21).The reaction is first order in substrate and second order in ICl.An electron transfer pathway involving radical cation intermediates is assumed.Ion-pair collapse of the radical cation-ICl intermediates is proposed for the chlorinations and radical-pair collapse for the iodination.
