Reactions of N,N-dichlorotrifluoromethanesulfonamide CF3SO2NCl2 with sulfur, selenium, and CF3SeCl gave compounds containing =NSO2CF3 groups at the sulfur or selenium atom: CF3SO2N=SCl2, CF3SO2N=SeCl2, and CF3SO2N=Se(CF3)Cl, respectively. Heating of CF3SO2N=SCl2 with trifluoroacetic anhydride in the presence of CF3COOH resulted in formation of N-sulfinyl amide CF3SO2N=S=O, and the reaction with CF3SO2NCl2 gave sulfur diimide CF3SO2N=S=NSO2CF3.
