Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
3-(3-Ethoxyphenyl)propionic acid is used as an anti-inflammatory agent for its ability to alleviate pain and reduce inflammation associated with various conditions. It is particularly effective in treating arthritis, menstrual cramps, and other forms of acute pain, providing relief through oral administration which is well absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, reaching peak blood concentration within 1-4 hours post-ingestion.
Used in Pain Management:
In the healthcare sector, 3-(3-Ethoxyphenyl)propionic acid serves as an analgesic, addressing the need for pain relief in patients suffering from different types of acute and chronic conditions. Its efficacy in reducing inflammation contributes to its widespread use in managing pain levels effectively.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 28945-89-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,8,9,4 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 28945-89:
(7*2)+(6*8)+(5*9)+(4*4)+(3*5)+(2*8)+(1*9)=163
163 % 10 = 3
So 28945-89-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The aromatic aldehyde as a traceless directing group for the regionselective C-H alkylation catalyzed by rhodium(III) under aerobic atmospheric conditions has been developed. The process involves an aldehyde assisted direct addition of C-H bond to unsaturated electrophiles of acrylates or acrylic acids, and the subsequent decarbonylation. A trace amount of water is found to favor the reaction.
