Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 33678-04-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,3,6,7 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 33678-04:
(7*3)+(6*3)+(5*6)+(4*7)+(3*8)+(2*0)+(1*4)=125
125 % 10 = 5
So 33678-04-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis, characterization and reactions of the chiral transfer agent dicarbonyl(triphenylphosphine)-[(4R)-phenyl-(1′ R)-(1′-phenylethyl)-1-azabuta-1,3-diene]iron(0)

Kane-Maguire, Leon A. P.,Pyne, Stephen G.,Siu, Anna F. H.,Skelton, Brian W.,White, Allan H.

, p. 673 - 676 (2007/10/03)

The synthesis and room temperature single-crystal X-ray structural characterization of the title compound [(PhCH=CHCH=NCHMePh)Fe(CO)2(PPh3)] are described, the first optically pure 1-azabuta-1,3-diene adduct of iron(0) to be so recorded. Crystals are orthorhombic, P 212121, a 20.197(6), b 14.09(1), c 11.094(5) ?, Z 4; conventional R on |F| was 0.061 for 2217 independent 'observed' (I > 3σ(I)) reflections. This compound has been employed to transfer the Fe(CO)2(PPh3) moiety to cyclic 1,3-dienes to give new complexes, including the first example of optically active dicarbonyl(triphenylphosphine) (η4-1-methoxycyclohexa-1,3-diene)iron.

Synthesis and reactions of polymer-supported dicarbonyl(dienyl)(triphenylphosphine)iron(0) complexes

Siu, Anna F. H.,Kane-Maguire, Leon A. P.,Pyne, Stephen G.,Lambrecht, Richard H.

, p. 3747 - 3754 (2007/10/03)

A preparative method for novel polymer-supported Fe(η5-dienyl)(CO)2(PPh2-polystyrene) species from [Fe(η5-dienyl)(CO)3]+ (dienyl = C6H7, 2-MeOC6H6 or C7H9) cations has been developed. The polymer-supported complexes have been characterised by iron analysis and infrared and 31P NMR spectroscopic studies and shown to undergo nucleophilic attack on the dienyl ring in a similar fashion to that of their monomeric analogues. Treatment of the resultant adducts with trifluoroacetic acid regenerated the starting dienyliron polymers.
