Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 33733-32-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,3,7,3 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 33733-32:
(7*3)+(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*3)+(3*3)+(2*3)+(1*2)=103
103 % 10 = 3
So 33733-32-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

An improved procedure for the synthesis of aryl phosphonates by palladium-catalysed cross-coupling of aryl halides and diethyl phosphite in polyethylene glycol

Wang, Ping,Lu, Jie,Zhang, Zhan-Hui

, p. 359 - 361 (2013/07/26)

A general and greener protocol for the synthesis of aryl phosphonates by the cross-coupling of aryl halides and diethyl phosphite using tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladiume/triethylamine/polyethylene glycol 600 [Pd(PPh3)4/ Et3N/PEG 600] as an efficient catalytic system has been developed. This procedure also avoids hazardous solvents and is therefore an eco-friendly alternative to the existing methods.

Phosphonation of 1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol (BINOL): Synthesis of (R)- and (S)-2,2′-dihydroxy-1,1′-binaphthalene-6,6′-diyldiphosphonic acid

Jaffres, Paul-Alain,Bar, Nathalie,Villemin, Didier

, p. 2083 - 2089 (2007/10/03)

The synthesis of 6,6′-bis(diethoxyphosphoryl)-1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol 1 in racemic and chiral forms is described. This synthesis, which involves a palladium-assisted phosphonation step, allows study of the phosphonation of bromophenol as an electron-
