Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 34981-25-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,4,9,8 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 34981-25:
(7*3)+(6*4)+(5*9)+(4*8)+(3*1)+(2*2)+(1*5)=134
134 % 10 = 4
So 34981-25-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A novel flavonoid from Sophora flavescens

Ryu, Shi Yong,Kim, Seong-Kie,No, Zaesung,Ahn, Jong Woong

, p. 361 - 362 (1996)

A new dihydroflavonol named kosamol A (1) has been isolated from the roots of Sophora flavescens (Leguminosae) along with twelve related flavonoids. The structure of 1 was determined to be (2R,3R)-5,7,2',4'-tetrahydroxy-6-(3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-8-lavanduly lflavanonol on the basis of spectral analyses.

COMBINATION TREATMENT OF BACTERIAL INFECTION

-

, (2020/06/08)

The present invention resides in the discovery that combined use of kuraridin (or any one of its analogs) and epicatechin gallate (ECG) can provide heightened level of antimicrobial activity, especially for the suppression of bacteria of the Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcal species. Compositions, kits, and methods for the combination use are disclosed.
