Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 35704-28-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,5,7,0 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 35704-28:
(7*3)+(6*5)+(5*7)+(4*0)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*8)=110
110 % 10 = 0
So 35704-28-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Prolinamide functionalized polyacrylonitrile fiber with tunable linker length and surface microenvironment as efficient catalyst for Knoevenagel condensation and related multicomponent tandem reactions

Zhu, Hai,Xu, Gang,Du, Huimin,Zhang, Chenlu,Ma, Ning,Zhang, Wenqin

, p. 217 - 229 (2019/05/16)

A series of new prolinamide polyacrylonitrile fiber catalysts with tunable length of alkyl linker and different linker group were prepared by covalent bonding for the first time and well characterized by mechanical strength, FT-IR, XRD, EA, TGA, SEM and water contact angel. The catalytic activities of these fiber catalysts were evaluated in Knoevenagel condensation and one-pot Knoevenagel-Michael multicomponent tandem reactions to synthesize α, β-unsaturated nitrile and 2-amino-4H-chromene derivatives in water. The result show that the suitable linker length attaching amines to fiber matrix as well as the constructed hydrophobic microenvironment by linker group within the surface layers of fiber materials effectively promotes the reactions. In addition, the good swollen capacity of fiber in solvent ensure that the reaction proceed well. Fiber catalyst PANPA?2F modified by prolinamide with a C2 alkyl chain exhibited the best catalytic performance and can be easily recovered and reused for at least ten consecutive cycles without significant loss of catalytic activity and active sites leaching.

Synthesis method of methylene malononitrile compounds

Paragraph 0034-0038, (2020/04/02)

The invention discloses a synthesis method of methylene malononitrile compounds. According to the method, in the air atmosphere, a ketone compound and malononitrile are taken as raw materials, Ru/C istaken as a catalyst, the raw materials and the catalyst

Controlling, Understanding, and Redirecting the Thermal Rearrangement of 3,3-Dicyano-1,5-enynes

Scott, Sarah K.,Sanders, Jacob N.,White, Katherine E.,Yu, Roland A.,Houk,Grenning, Alexander J.

supporting information, p. 16134 - 16139 (2018/11/27)

The thermal [3,3] rearrangement of 3,3-dicyano-1,5-enynes to γ-allenyl alkylidenemalononitriles (the "enyne Cope rearrangement") has largely eluded synthetic value as the desired products, too, are thermally reactive and ultimately yield 6π electrocycliza

Experimental evidence for a dual site mechanism in Sn-Beta and Sn-MCM-41 catalysts for the Baeyer-Villiger oxidation

Corma, Avelino,Renz, Michael

, p. 1727 - 1736 (2007/10/03)

It is postulated that the catalytic active centre in Sn-Beta and Sn-MCM-41 zeolites for Baeyer-Villiger oxidations involves not only the framework Sn sites but also an associated "basic" oxygen that stabilises the reaction transition state through hydrogen bonding. The presence of these "basic" sites has been studied by cross-polarization MAS NMR H → Sn, and by carrying out the condensation of ketones with malononitrile. The reaction proceeds highly selectively and the reactivity of the substrates corresponds to that of the ketones in the Baeyer-Villiger oxidation with hydrogen peroxide, catalysed with tin-containing molecular sieves.

Diastereoselective protonation on radical anions of electron-deficient alkenes via photoinduced electron transfer

Hayamizu, Tomoo,Maeda, Hajime,Mizuno, Kazuhiko

, p. 4997 - 5004 (2007/10/03)

Diastereoselective protonations in the photoinduced electron transfer (PET) reactions of 1,1-dicyanoethene derivatives (1a-e) by use of organosilicon compounds such as allyltrimethylsilane (2) and benzyltrimethylsilane (5) are described. Irradiation of an acetonitrile-acetic acid solution containing 4-tert-butylcyclohexylidenepropanedinitrile (1a) and an excess of 2 in the presence of phenanthrene (Phen) as a sensitizer afforded reduction and allylated products (3a, 4a) in 63:37 and 57:43 ratios in a less regioselective manner. Photoreactions of 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexylidenepropanedinitrile (1b), 2-methylcyclohexylidenepropanedinitrile (1c), bicyclo[2.2.1]-2- heptylidenepropanedinitrile (1d), and 1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]-2- heptylidenepropanedinitrile (1e) with 2 showed higher diastereoselectivity via the PET process. Similar diastereoselectivities were obtained in the Phen-sensitized photoreaction of 1a-e with 5. When 2,4,6-trimethylpyridinium tosylate (7) was used as a proton source in place of acetic acid, the product ratios were substantially changed in several cases. From these results, steric and torsional effects have been postulated as important factors for the control of the diastereoselectivity in these PET reactions.

Electrocatalytic transformation of malononitrile and cycloalkylidenemalononitriles into spirobicyclic and spirotricyclic compounds containing 1,1,2,2-tetracyanocyclopropane fragment

Elinson,Fedukovich,Vereshchagin,Dorofeev,Dmitriev,Nikishin

, p. 2235 - 2240 (2007/10/03)

Electrolysis of malononitrile and cycloalkylidenemalononitriles in EtOH in an undivided cell in the presence of NaBr affords spirobicyclic compounds containing a 1,1,2,2-tetracyanocyclopropane fragment in 50-88% yields.

The stereoselective addition of organometallic reagents to electron-deficient alkylidenecyclohexanes; alternative linkages for cholaphane synthesis

Davis, Anthony P.,Egan, Thomas J.,Orchard, Michael G.,Cunningham, Desmond,McArdle, Patrick

, p. 8725 - 8738 (2007/10/02)

Knoevenagel condensations between t-butylcyclohexanone and malononitrile, Meldrum's acid and ethyl cyanoacetate gave electron-deficient alkenes which underwent equatorial-selective attack by chemoselective aryl organometallic reagents. Further transformat

Synthesis and X-Ray Crystal Structure of a New 'Cholaphane' with Externally Directed Functionality

Davis, Anthony P.,Orchard, Michael G.,Slawin, Alexandra M. Z.,Williams, David J.

, p. 612 - 614 (2007/10/02)

The 'cholaphane' 1 was synthesized in 26percent overall yield from cholic acid and its structure determined by X-ray crystallography; the molecule adopts an open conformation and is able to surround two molecules of tetrahydrofurane.
