The preparation of the 15-membered macrocycle (E,E,Z)-1,6,11-tris[(2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl)sulfonyl]-1,6, 11-triazacyclopentadeca-3,8,13-triene is reported. This cyclic triolefin forms stable complexes with palladium(0) and platinum(0), and a moderately stable complex with silver(I) tetrafluoroborate.
