Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 374073-24-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 3,7,4,0,7 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 374073-24:
(8*3)+(7*7)+(6*4)+(5*0)+(4*7)+(3*3)+(2*2)+(1*4)=142
142 % 10 = 2
So 374073-24-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Influence of the para-substitution in bis(arylimino)pyridine iron complexes on the catalytic oligomerization and polymerization of ethylene

G?rl, Christian,Alt, Helmut G.

, p. 4580 - 4592 (2008/02/13)

A series of nine bis(arylimino)pyridine iron complexes containing halogen or alkynyl substituents in their ligand frameworks was synthesized and characterized. After activation with methylalumoxane (MAO), these catalysts oligomerize or polymerize ethylene to give highly linear products. The introduction of halogen or alkynyl substituents in the para-position of the iminophenyl rings has a great influence on the polymerization activities of the corresponding iron complexes.

The complex 2, 6-Bis[1-(phenylimino)ethyl pyridine ZnCl2 (3) was synthesised via the reaction of ZnCl2 with the 2,6-bis[1- (phenylimino)ethyl]pyridine (L3) in CH2Cl2 and its structure determined by si

Syntheses, structures, and luminescent properties of [Bis(iminoalkyl) pyridine]cadmium(II) complexes

Fan, Rui-Qing,Zhu, Dong-Sheng,Mu, Ying,Li, Guang-Hua,Yang, Yu-Lin,Su, Qing,Feng, Shou-Hua

, p. 4891 - 4897 (2007/10/03)

Four new CdIII complexes of 2,6-bis[1-(phenylimino)ethyl]- pyridine (L1), 2,6-bis[1-(2,6-diisopropyrphenylimino)ethyl]-pyridine (L2), 2,6-bis[1-(2,6-dimethylphenylirnino)ethyl]-pyridine (L 3), 2,6-bis[1-(2-methylphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine (L4) have been synthesized. These complexes have the formulas [Cd(L 1)Cl2]·1.5CH3CN (1), [Cd(L 2)Cl2] (2), [Cd(L3)Cl2] ·CH3CN (3), and [Cd(L4)Cl2] ·CH3CN (4). The molecular structures of complexes 1-4 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystallographic studies of 1-4 reveal all four complexes to be five-coordinate with geometries that can be best described as distorted trigonal-bipyramidal. All eight compounds (L 1-L4 and 1-4) are luminescent at room temperature in solution and the solid state. At 298 K in dichloromethane solution, all compounds have fluorescent emissions at about 368-409 nm. The fluorescent emission of these compounds originates from ligand-centered π*-π transitions. The CdII centers play a key role in enhancing the fluorescent emission of the ligands. Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2004.
