Facile synthesis and biological evaluation of some heterocyclic systems containing diazepam

Oxadiazoles 4, 5, 6, 12, 14 and 22 were prepared binary attached with Diazepam (1). Thiadiazoles 15, 20 and Triazoles 7, 8, 9, 17, 18, 19 and 21 were also prepared. The structures of hitherto unknown compounds were confirmed by analytical and spectral methods. Some of the synthesized compounds were screened to test their antibacterial activity.
