Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 393820-65-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 3,9,3,8,2 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 393820-65:
(8*3)+(7*9)+(6*3)+(5*8)+(4*2)+(3*0)+(2*6)+(1*5)=170
170 % 10 = 0
So 393820-65-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Chiral 1,3,2-Diazaphospholenes as Catalytic Molecular Hydrides for Enantioselective Conjugate Reductions

Miaskiewicz, Solène,Reed, John H.,Donets, Pavel A.,Oliveira, Caio C.,Cramer, Nicolai

, p. 4039 - 4042 (2018/03/13)

Secondary 1,3,2-diazaphospholenes have a polarized P?H bond and are emerging as molecular hydrides. Herein, a class of chiral, conformationally restricted methoxy-1,3,2-diazaphospholene catalysts is reported. We demonstrate their catalytic potential in asymmetric 1,4-reductions of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl derivatives, including enones, acyl pyrroles, and amides, which proceeded in enantioselectivities of up to 95.5:4.5 e.r.

Rhodium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Hydrogenation of α,β-Unsaturated Carbonyl Compounds via Thiourea Hydrogen Bonding

Wen, Jialin,Jiang, Jun,Zhang, Xumu

supporting information, p. 4451 - 4453 (2016/09/28)

The strategy of secondary interaction enables enantioselectivity for homogeneous hydrogenation. By introducing hydrogen bonding of substrates with thiourea from the ligand, α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, such as amides and esters, are hydrogenated wi

Compounds advantageous in the treatment of central nervous system diseases and disorders

-

Page/Page column 13; 14, (2015/12/25)

A series of novel compounds showing anticonvulsant activity is described. Such pharmaceutically active compounds may also show utility in the treatment of other central nervous system (“CNS”) diseases and disorders, such as anxiety, depression, insomnia,

Asymmetric 1,4-addition of aryltrialkoxysilanes to α,β-unsaturated esters and amides catalyzed by a chiral rhodium complex

Oi, Shuichi,Taira, Akio,Honma, Yoshio,Sato, Takashi,Inoue, Yoshio

, p. 598 - 602 (2007/10/03)

A highly enantioselective 1,4-addition of aryltrialkoxysilanes to α,β-unsaturated esters and amides was successfully catalyzed by a chiral rhodium complex generated from [Rh(cod)(MeCN)2]BF4 and (S)-BINAP.

Asymmetric 1,4-addition of organosiloxanes to α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds catalyzed by a chiral rhodium complex

Oi, Shuichi,Taira, Akio,Honma, Yoshio,Inoue, Yoshio

, p. 97 - 99 (2007/10/03)

(Matrix presented) Highly enantioselective 1,4-addition of organosiloxanes to α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds was found to be catalyzed by a chiral rhodium complex generated from [Rh(cod)(MeCN)2]BF4 and (S)-BINAP. Both (E)- and (Z)-1-alkenyl groups as well as aryl groups can be introduced enantioselectively into the β-position of a variety of ketones, esters, and amides.

Rhodium(I)-catalyzed asymmetric 1,4-addition of arylboronic acids to α,β-unsaturated amides

Sakuma,Miyaura

, p. 8944 - 8946 (2007/10/03)

The conjugate addition of arylboronic acids to α,β-unsaturated amides was carried out in the presence of a chiral rhodium catalyst and an aqueous base. The catalyst prepared in situ from Rh(acac)(CH2=CH2)2 and (S)-binap provided (R)-N-benzyl-3-phenylbutanamide with 93% ee in the addition of phenylboronic acid to N-benzyl crotonamide. The reaction suffered from incomplete conversion resulting in moderate yields, but addition of an aqueous base, such as K2CO3 (10-50 mol%) was found to be highly effective to improve the chemical yields. The role of the base giving a RhOH species active for transmetalation with arylboronic acids was discussed.
