THE FIRST 4-DIALKYLAMINO-1,2-DIHYDROPYRIDINE DERIVATIVES: SYNTHESIS AND BASIC REACTIONS
Bader, Hubert,Reissig, Hans-Ulrich
, p. 835 - 838 (1986)
The first two 4-dialkylamino-1,2-dihydropyridine derivatives 4a and 4b are prepared in good yield by addition of n-butyllithium or t-butyllithium to 4-dimethylaminopyridine 1 followed by quench with diethylcarbonate.Compound 4a can be hydrolyzed under mild conditions providing 4-dihydropyridone 5, an interesting acceptor building block. On the other hand reaction of 4a with dimethyl acetylene dicarboxylate gives benzene derivative 7 via a cycloaddition-cycloreversion path.
Antiviral agent containing benzodithiin derivative as active ingredient
-
, (2008/06/13)
Antiviral agents comprising, as an active ingredient, a 1,4-dihydro-2,3-benzodithiin derivative of the formula STR1 wherein each symbol is as defined in the Specification, or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. The antiviral agents of the present invention have superior antiviral activity and are effective for the preventive and therapeutic treatment of viral diseases caused typically by RS virus.
Manufacture of dimethylaminobenzenecarboxylic acid esters
-
, (2008/06/13)
Dimethylaminobenzenecarboxylic acid esters are produced by reaction of nitrobenzenecarboxylic acid esters with formaldehyde and hydrogen under pressure in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst containing metals of atomic numbers 24 to 29 and of a weak acid, at temperatures from 35° to 150° C. The products are starting materials for the synthesis of dyes, especially of crystal violets, and of reactive dyes and pesticides.
