Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 40667-81-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 4,0,6,6 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 40667-81:
(7*4)+(6*0)+(5*6)+(4*6)+(3*7)+(2*8)+(1*1)=120
120 % 10 = 0
So 40667-81-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Relative kinetic basicities of organogold compounds

Roth, Katrina E.,Blum, Suzanne A.

, p. 1712 - 1716 (2010/06/14)

The relative kinetic basicities of a series of differentially substituted and hybridized neutral organogold compounds were examined through competitive protodeauration experiments and were found to span 2.2 orders of magnitude. The effect of electron-withdrawing and electron-donating substituents on the rate of protodeauration of alkenylgold and arylgold compounds was explored. An acid counterion effect indicated the presence of a gold-mediated substrate preequilibrium before protodemetalation, and hybridization effects and a Hammett correlation with -+ = -0.41 indicated the involvement of the C-C π system in the protodeauration of vinylgold, alkynylgold, and arylgold complexes.
