AM1 and electron impact mass spectrometry study of the fragmentation of 4-acyl isochroman-1,3-diones
Djande, Abdoulaye,Sessouma, Bintou,Kini, Felix B.,Kabore, Leopold,Karifa, Bayo,Guissou, Pierre I.,Saba, Adama
, p. 311 - 318 (2012)
Recently, in electron impact mass spectrometry (EIMS), it has been found a good correlation between the fragmentation processes of coumarins and the electronic charges of the atoms of their skeleton. In this paper, the same analytical method has been applied to 4-acyl isochroman-1,3-diones, whose mass spectra had been studied earlier and described for the very first time from our laboratory. Results obtained are in good agreement with the last study.
Tautomerie de la 4-(hydroxyphenylmethylene) isochroman-1,3 dione a l'etat solide
Kakou-Yao,Saba,Ebby,Pierrot,Aycard
, p. 1591 - 1593 (1999)
The crystal and molecular structure of 4-(hydroxyphenylmethylene)isochroman-1,3-dione, C16H10O4, is presented. The molecular structure is the same as that observed in solution and corresponds to the exocyclic enolic tautomer.
Synthesis and fluorescence properties of 4-Acyl isochroman-1,3-diones
Djande,Cisse,Kabore,Saba,Tine,Aycard
experimental part, p. 237 - 244 (2009/04/14)
4-Acyl isochroman-1,3-diones are very difficult to obtain and they were not widely studied. We describe herein the best conditions of their preparation. The role of base, temperature and solvent are evidenced and described. Fluorescence properties of these compounds, not known up to now, are discussed. One of them displays dual fluorescence.
