General Description

3-Methylpyrazine-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester, also known as 2-methyl-3-pyrazinecarboxylic acid methyl ester, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C7H8N2O2. It is a methyl ester of 3-methylpyrazine-2-carboxylic acid, a derivative of pyrazine. 3-METHYLPYRAZINE-2-CARBOXYLIC ACID METHYL ESTER is commonly used in the food and beverage industry for its nutty, roasted aroma, and is often found in coffee, chocolate, and caramel flavorings.
