[2-(Dichloro-methyl-silanyl)-ethyl]-diphenyl-phosphane is a complex organophosphorus compound with the molecular formula C15H18Cl2PSi. It features a diphenylphosphane group attached to a 2-(dichloro-methyl-silanyl)-ethyl moiety. [2-(Dichloro-methyl-silanyl)-ethyl]-diphenyl-phosphane is characterized by its two chlorine atoms bonded to a methyl group, which in turn is connected to a silicon atom. The silicon atom is also bonded to an ethyl group, which further links to the diphenylphosphane group. This structure endows the compound with unique chemical properties, making it potentially useful in various applications, such as in the synthesis of organosilicon compounds or as a ligand in organometallic chemistry. Due to its complexity, it is important to handle [2-(Dichloro-methyl-silanyl)-ethyl]-diphenyl-phosphane with care, following appropriate safety protocols.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 4145-76-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 4,1,4 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 4145-76:
(6*4)+(5*1)+(4*4)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*6)=80
80 % 10 = 0
So 4145-76-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Soluble (chlorosilyl)phosphine and siloxyphosphine complexes of rhodium(I)

, p. 3132 - 3138 (2007/10/05)

A number of soluble (chlorosilyl)phosphine complexes of rhodium(I) which are capable of being polymerized into poly(siloxyphosphine)-rhodium(I) species have been synthesized and characterized. They are L2′Rh(CO)Cl, L′3RhCl, L″3RhCl, and L′4Rh2Cl2 (L′ = Cl3Si(CH2)2P(C6H5) 2, L″ = Cl3Si(CH2)8P(C6H5) 2). Soluble siloxyphosphine-rhodium(I) complexes LRh(NBD)Cl, L2Rh(CO)Cl, L3RhCl, and L4Rh2Cl2 (NBD = norbornadiene, L = [(CH3)3SiO]2(CH3)Si(CH 2)2P(C6H5)2) have also been synthesized and characterized and their reactions with gaseous H2, CO, and HCl as well as their catalytic behavior in hydrogenation reactions have been studied. These complexes were prepared to serve as study models for their polymeric counterparts.
