Usage

General Description

4-Amidinotetrahydro-2H-pyran hydrochloride is a chemical compound used as a selective inhibitor of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1). PAI-1 is a protein that regulates the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin, an essential component of the fibrinolytic system involved in blood clot dissolution. By inhibiting PAI-1, 4-Amidinotetrahydro-2H-pyran hydrochloride can promote fibrinolysis and prevent the formation of blood clots. 4-Amidinotetrahydro-2H-pyran hydrochloride has potential therapeutic applications in the treatment of thrombotic disorders and could be a valuable tool for studying the role of PAI-1 in various physiological and pathological processes.
