When the parameters of a chemical reaction have to be controlled and several steps have to be automated the chemist, in the organic chemistry laboratory, can now use the sensors and actuators of the logilap system.Automation involves the use of an organ of decision which obtains information from the sensors and sends information to the actuators. The organ of decision consist either of the correlator of the logilap system either if basic programmable controllers. But the correlator is not suitable for sequential processes and the cost of programmable controllers is, at present, prohibitive. The purpose of this paper is the study of the feasibility of microprocessor in order to solve this problem. The SDK 8085 microsystem (Intel) connected to actuators and sensors of logilap has been adopted. The synthesis of the (1-ethyl 2-pyrrolidinyl) (2-methoxy 5-sulfamoyl) acetanilide has been automated which the purpose of its optimatisation; the chemical process involves seven successive stages.Few instructions among those available, have been applied to this process and programmation procedure can be carried out even in non specialised laboratory.
