9H-Fluorene-2,7-dicarboxamide, 9-oxo-N,N'-bis(3-phenylpropyl)-, also known as GPI-16552, is a novel and potent inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) glycohydrolase (PARG) with an IC50 of 1.7 μM. It has been shown to reduce brain infarct volumes in a rat model of cerebral ischemia when administered as a pre or post-ischemia treatment at a dosage of 40 mg/kg. GPI-16552 also modulates the inflammatory response to ischemia/reperfusion in a rat splanchnic artery occlusion model and reduces the degree of spinal cord inflammation and tissue injury after experimental spinal cord trauma. Additionally, it has been found to synergize with temozolomide in decreasing melanoma cell invasion and metastatic spreading in mice injected with B16 melanoma cells.

Uses

Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
9H-Fluorene-2,7-dicarboxamide, 9-oxo-N,N'-bis(3-phenylpropyl)is used as a PARG inhibitor for amelioration of ischemic brain damage in rats. Its ability to reduce brain infarct volumes and modulate the inflammatory response makes it a promising candidate for the treatment of cerebral ischemia and other related conditions.
Used in Oncology Research:
GPI-16552 is used as a research tool in oncology to study the synergistic effects of PARG inhibition and temozolomide in decreasing melanoma cell invasion and metastatic spreading. This application aids in understanding the potential therapeutic benefits of combining these two agents in the treatment of melanoma and possibly other cancer types.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 443794-40-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 4,4,3,7,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 443794-40:
(8*4)+(7*4)+(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*4)+(1*0)=169
169 % 10 = 9
So 443794-40-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
