Geometrical distortions from an ideal octahedral geometry (iOh) towards an ideal trigonal prism (itp) in tris(dithiocarbamato)indium(III) complexes have been quantified by Continuous Shape Measure (CShM) analysis. Three tris(disubstituted dithiocarbamato)

Nanothallium sulfide was formed from Tl(chmdtc)3(1), Tl(chedtc)3(2) and Tl(dchdtc)3(3) (where chmdtc = cyclohexyl methyl dithiocarbamate, chedtc = cyclohexylethyl dithiocarbamate, dchdtc = dicyclohexyl dithiocarbamate). Si

A facile photocatalyzed strategy for difunctionalization of styrenes in the presence of CS2 and amines providing β-keto dithiocarbamates has been developed. In the case of 4-nitrostyrene and 2-vinylpyridine, however, only 2-arylethylthiocarbamates are interestingly formed without the aid of photoredox catalysis/TBHP.
