Triphenylantimony bis(acetophenoneoximate) was synthesized by the reaction of triphenylantimony with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of acetophenone oxime (taken in the molar ratio of 1:1:2) in ether. The structure of the obtained compound was determined by X-ray diffraction. The Sb atom has a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal coordination with the oxime groups in the axial positions. The Sb-C(Ph)eq bond lengths are 2.110(1)-2.113(1) A, and the Sb-O distances are 2.058(1) and 2.067(1) A. The intramolecular Sb(1)...N(1, 2) contacts and O(1)SbO(2) axial angle are 2.990(1), 2.916(1) A and 172.49(4)°, respectively.
