Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 478019-07-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 4,7,8,0,1 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 478019-07:
(8*4)+(7*7)+(6*8)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*9)+(2*0)+(1*7)=167
167 % 10 = 7
So 478019-07-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

One-pot, three component synthesis of thiazol-2(3H)-imines using poly(4-vinylpyridine) as an efficient reusable heterogeneous basic catalyst

Shiran, Jafar Abbasi,Yahyazadeh, Asieh,Mamaghani, Manouchehr,Yamin, Bohari M.,Shirini, Farhad

, p. 113 - 122 (2015/03/04)

Poly(4-vinylpyridine) is reported as a green, efficient and reusable basic catalyst for the synthesis of thiazol-2(3H)-imines under one-pot, three component reaction conditions. This simple method produces the products at room temperature in excellent yields (83-97%). Furthermore, this catalyst can be recovered by simple filtration and recycled up to four consecutive runs without any loss of its efficiency

Regioselective synthesis of novel 3-allyl-2-(substituted imino)-4-phenyl-3H-thiazole and 2,2′-(1,3-phenylene)bis(3-substituted-2- imino-4-phenyl-3H-thiazole) derivatives as antibacterial agents

Abbasi Shiran, Jafar,Yahyazadeh, Asieh,Mamaghani, Manouchehr,Rassa, Mehdi

, p. 113 - 118 (2013/05/09)

Several novel 3-allyl-2-(substituted imino)-4-phenyl-3H-thiazole derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of allyl-thioureas and 2-bromoacetophenone. We also report the synthesis of bis-allyl-3H thiazoles using the reaction of various isothiocyanates
