Usage

General Description

5-Anilino pyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione, also known as ANP, is a chemical compound with potential anticancer and antiproliferative properties. It has been studied for its ability to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells by interfering with their DNA repair mechanisms. ANP is also known to inhibit the enzyme poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), which is involved in DNA repair and has been targeted for cancer therapy.
