4910-46-7 Usage
Uses
neurotransmitter; mGluR3 receptors
Biological Activity
The most abundant peptide neurotransmitter in the mammalian CNS. A weak activator of NMDA receptors, and a highly selective agonist for mGlu 3 receptors. Neuroprotective under non-hydrolysing conditions in vivo .
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 4910-46-7 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 4,9,1 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 4910-46:
(6*4)+(5*9)+(4*1)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*6)=87
87 % 10 = 7
So 4910-46-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 96 - 100 (2007/10/02)
The α-isomer is predominantly formed in the synthesis of N-acetylaspartylglutamic acid and its β-isomer upon cleavage of N-acetylaspartic acid anhydride by the diethyl ester of glutamic acid.
