Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 503179-72-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 5,0,3,1,7 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 503179-72:
(8*5)+(7*0)+(6*3)+(5*1)+(4*7)+(3*9)+(2*7)+(1*2)=134
134 % 10 = 4
So 503179-72-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 3557 - 3567 (2009)

We have developed a new class of diarylalkyl amides as novel TRPV1 antagonists. They exhibited potent 45Ca2+ uptake inhibitions in rat DRG neuron. In particular, the amide 59 was identified as a potent antagonist with IC50 of 57 nM. The synthesis and structure-activity relationship of the diarylalkyl amides are also described.
