Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 50373-60-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,0,3,7 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 50373-60:
(7*5)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*7)+(3*3)+(2*6)+(1*0)=99
99 % 10 = 9
So 50373-60-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Proton-gradient-transfer acid complexes and their catalytic performance for the synthesis of geranyl acetate
Chen, Yongle,Ding, Shiya,Zheng, Wentao,Zhang, Yiyang,Wu, Youting,Hu, Xingbang
, p. 2114 - 2121 (2017/01/16)
Special proton-gradient-transfer acid complexes (PGTACs) in which the bonded protons are not equivalent and have gradients in transfer ability, acidity, and reactivity were reported. The acidity gradient of the protons gave the PGTACs excellent catalytic activity and selectivity in the esterification of terpenols. These PGTACs are “reaction-induced self-separation catalysts” and can be easily reused. The kinetics with PGTACs as catalyst in the esterification of geraniol were also studied for use in engineering design.
CATALYTIC HYDROGENATION OF DEHYDROLINALOOL AND DEHYDROLINALYL ACETATE
Cerveny, Libor,Kuncova, Marcela,Ruzicka, Vlastimil
, p. 1258 - 1261 (2007/10/02)
Catalytic hydrogenation of dehydrolinalool and of dehydrolinalyl acetate has been studied in the liquid phase under atmospheric pressure at 20 deg C with the aim to obtain selectively linalool and linalyl acetate.High selectivities have been obtained with the palladium on CaCO3 catalyst which was partially poisoned by lead.
