Usage

General Description

Diethyl aminomethanephosphonate, also known as DEAMP, is an organophosphorus compound used as a flame retardant and in the production of metal surface treatment agents. It is a clear, colorless liquid with a faint amine odor and is highly soluble in water. DEAMP is a highly effective flame retardant due to its ability to form a char layer on the surface of materials, which inhibits the spread of fire.
