A tetrazolinone compound represented by formula (1): wherein R1, R2, R3, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10, and R11 each independently represents a C1-C6 alkyl group optionally having one or more halogen atoms, etc.; R4, and R5 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, etc.; Q represents any one group selected from Group P2 (provided that the group optionally has one or more atoms or groups selected from Group P1); and X represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, has excellent control activity against pests.
