Blastmycin, also known as Antimycin A3, is a homologue of the antimycin complex derived from Streptomyces blastimyceticus. It is a more polar analogue of A1 and A2, and like all antimycins, it is a potent inhibitor of respiration by inhibiting the oxidation of ubiquinol to ubiquinone. Blastmycin exhibits broad biological activity as an antifungal, anthelmintic, insecticidal, antiviral, and antitumor agent.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 522-70-3 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 5,2 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 522-70:
(5*5)+(4*2)+(3*2)+(2*7)+(1*0)=53
53 % 10 = 3
So 522-70-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
