Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 52354-19-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,2,3,5 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 52354-19:
(7*5)+(6*2)+(5*3)+(4*5)+(3*4)+(2*1)+(1*9)=105
105 % 10 = 5
So 52354-19-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

POLAROGRAPHIC REDUCTION OF p-SUBSTITUTED 1-BENZYL-3-CARBAMOYLPYRIDINIUM CHLORIDES

Kuthan, Josef,Pavlikova-Raclova, Frantiska

, p. 2890 - 2903 (2007/10/02)

Substituent effects (H, NO2, CN, COOCH3, CH3, CH3O, (CH3)2N, Cl, F) on polarographic characteristics of the title quarternary salts have been studied in water, anhydrous acetonitrile and aqueous ethanol. In the last solvent a gradual disapperance of one of the polarographic waves takes place.Probable course of the investigated electrode processes and accompanying chemical transformations is discussed.
