Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 52949-83-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,2,9,4 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 52949-83:
(7*5)+(6*2)+(5*9)+(4*4)+(3*9)+(2*8)+(1*3)=154
154 % 10 = 4
So 52949-83-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

experimental part, p. 742 - 746 (2011/07/08)
A new minor polyoxygenated triterpene named glutinolic acid (1) and two new aeginetic acid quinovosides (2, 3) were isolated from the roots of Rehmannia glutinosa LIBOSCH. (Scrophulariaceae) cultivated in Gunwi-gun, Korea. The structures of these compounds were established as 3 α,19 α,20 β,24,30-pentahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid (1, glutinolic acid), aeginetic acid 5-O- β-D-quinovoside (2) and aeginetoyl ajugol 5″-O- β-D-quinovoside (3) on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence.
