Aldoximes and ketoximes were smoothly and efficiently 0-silylated at room temperature with diverse chlorosilanes such as TMSCl, TBSCl, or TIPSCl in dichloromethane or THF, using imidazole as a base to trap the generated hydrochloric acid.
