Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 537677-37-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 5,3,7,6,7 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 537677-37:
(8*5)+(7*3)+(6*7)+(5*6)+(4*7)+(3*7)+(2*3)+(1*7)=195
195 % 10 = 5
So 537677-37-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A general synthetic method toward uridylylated picornavirus VPg proteins

Van der Heden van Noort, Gerbrand J.,Schein, Catherine H.,Overkleeft, Herman S.,Van der Marel, Gijsbert A.,Filippov, Dmitri V.

, p. 333 - 336 (2013/06/27)

Small proteins called viral protein genome-linked (VPg), attached to the 5′-end of the viral RNA genome are found as common structure in the large family of picornaviruses. The replication of these viruses is primed by this VPg protein linked to a single uridylyl residue. We report a general procedure to obtain such nucleoproteins employing a pre-uridylylated tyrosine building block in an on-line solid phase-based approach. Copyright 2013 European Peptide Society and John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. The replication of picornaviruses is primed by a small so-called VPg protein linked to a uridylyl residue. We report a general procedure to obtain such nucleoproteins employing a pre-uridylylated tyrosine building block in an on-line solid phase based approach.

Stepwise solid phase synthesis of uridylylated viral genome-linked peptides using uridylylated amino acid building blocks

Kriek, Nicole M.A.J.,Filippov, Dmitri V.,Van Den Elst, Hans,Meeuwenoord, Nico J.,Tesser, Godefridus I.,Van Boom, Jacques H.,Van Der Marel, Gijs A.

, p. 1589 - 1597 (2007/10/03)

The uridylylated amino acid building blocks 2-cyanoethyl-(Nα-9-fluorenylmethoxy-carbonyl-tyrosin-4-yl)- (2′,3′-di-O-acetyluridin-5′-yl) phosphate and 2-chlorophenyl-(Nα-fluorenyl-methoxycarbonyl-serin-3-yl)- (2′,3′-di-O-acetyluridin-5′-yl) phosphate have been used successfully in an on-line SPPS of the VPgpU from the polio, coxsackie and cowpea mosaic virus.

, p. 3597 - 3600 (2007/10/03)

Condensation of a properly protected uridylylated nucleopeptide with a heptadecapeptide gives after one-step deprotection the target nucleopeptide H-Gly-Ala-Tyr(5pU)-Thr-Gly-Leu-Pro-Asn-Lys-Lys-Pro-Asn-Val-Pro-Thr-Ile-Arg- Thr-Ala-Lys-Val-Gln-OH.
