, p. E380-E383 (2014/11/07)
An efficient and environmentally benign one-pot method has been developed for the synthesis of 4-amino-5-arylpyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines. Phthalimido acetophenones were reacted with cyanoacetamide to give 2-amino-4-phenyl-1H- pyrrole-3-carboxamides, which were further converted to 5-aryl-3H-pyrrolo[2,3-d] pyrimidin-4-ones. A novel method is also developed for the synthesis of 4-amino-5-iodopyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines.

Page column 25, (2010/01/30)
An object of the present invention is to provide a heat sensitive recording material which can develop color at high density by the inclusion of a novel guanidine compound which is strongly basic and superior in diffusion resistance. The present invention for attaining the above-described object is a heat sensitive recording material comprising a substrate supporting thereon a heat sensitive recording layer containing a diazonium salt compound, a coupler which reacts with the diazonium salt compound when heated to develop color, and abase, wherein the heat sensitive recording layer includes as the base at least one of the guanidine compounds represented by the general formula (1): wherein, in the general formula (1), R1and R2represent an alkyl group or aryl group and may be the same or different, R3and R4represent a hydrogen atom, alkyl group or halogen atom and may be the same or different, and X represents a divalent connecting group.
7-alkyl- and 7-cycloalkyl-5-aryl-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines - Potent inhibitors of the tyrosine kinase c-Src

, p. 849 - 852 (2007/10/03)
7-Substituted-5-aryl-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines have been prepared starting from α-bromoacetophenones. These compounds represent a novel class of potent inhibitors of the tyrosine kinase pp60c-Src with good specificity towards other tyrosine kinases (EGF-R, v-Abl).
