REAGENT FOR IMAGING INTRACELLULAR ACETYLATION
-
, (2015/09/28)
A reagent for imaging an advancing intracellular acetylation, for example, an acetylation that is advanced by the action of acetyl-CoA in the mitochondria, at high sensitivity and high efficiency, which comprises a combination of a rhodamine derivative th

The application of a new rhodamine-based fluorescent probe, RH-NH 23 and an acyl transfer promoter, PBu3, to Hela cells induced a time-dependent increase in fluorescence in the mitochondria, which was most likely due to acetylation of RH-NH23 with activated acetyl-CoA by the artificial reaction promoter in living cells.
