Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 57542-59-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 5,7,5,4 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 57542-59:
(7*5)+(6*7)+(5*5)+(4*4)+(3*2)+(2*5)+(1*9)=143
143 % 10 = 3
So 57542-59-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Heteroaromatic Hyperbranched Polyelectrolytes: Multicomponent Polyannulation and Photodynamic Biopatterning

, p. 19222 - 19231 (2021)

We reported an efficient multicomponent polyannulation for in situ generation of heteroaromatic hyperbranched polyelectrolytes by using readily accessible internal diynes and low-cost, commercially available arylnitriles, NaSbF6, and H2/s

Flow Microreactor Technology for Taming Highly Reactive Chloroiodomethyllithium Carbenoid: Direct and Chemoselective Synthesis of α-Chloroaldehydes

Colella, Marco,Degennaro, Leonardo,Luisi, Renzo,Musci, Pantaleo,Romanazzi, Giuseppe,Sivo, Alessandra

supporting information, p. 3623 - 3627 (2020/05/22)

A straightforward flow synthesis of α-chloro aldehydes has been developed. The strategy involves, for the first time, the thermal unstable chloroiodomethyllithium carbenoid and carbonyl compounds. A batch versus flow comparative study showcases the superb capability of flow technology in prolonging the lifetime of the lithiated carbenoid, even at -20 °C. Remarkably, the high chemoselectivity realized in flow allowed for preparing polyfunctionalized α-chloro aldehydes not easily accessible with traditional batch procedures.

Palladium/copper-cocatalyzed decarbonylative alkynylation of acyl fluorides with alkynylsilanes: Synthesis of unsymmetrical diarylethynes

Chen, Qiang,Fu, Liyan,Nishihara, Yasushi

supporting information, p. 7977 - 7980 (2020/09/09)

Palladium/copper-cocatalyzed decarbonylative alkynylation of acyl fluorides with alkynylsilanes is described. This reaction not only effectively inhibits the formation of undesired homocoupled products by avoiding the addition of a base, but also exhibits a wide substrate scope to provide a general access to diverse unsymmetrical diarylethynes.

In Situ Generation of Azonia-Containing Polyelectrolytes for Luminescent Photopatterning and Superbug Killing

Liu, Xiaolin,Li, Mengge,Han, Ting,Cao, Bing,Qiu, Zijie,Li, Yuanyuan,Li, Qiyao,Hu, Yubing,Liu, Zhiyang,Lam, Jacky W. Y.,Hu, Xianglong,Tang, Ben Zhong

supporting information, p. 11259 - 11268 (2019/08/07)

Polyelectrolytes play an important role in both natural biological systems and human society, and their synthesis, functional exploration, and profound application are thus essential for biomimicry and creating new materials. In this study, we developed an efficient synthetic methodology for in situ generation of azonia-containing polyelectrolytes in a one-pot manner by using readily accessible nonionic reactant in the presence of commercially available cheap ionic species. The resulting polyelectrolytes are emissive in the solid state and can readily form luminescent photopatterns with different colors. The azonia-containing polyelectrolytes possess extraordinary potency of reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, enabling them to impressively kill methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a drug resistant superbug, both in vitro and in vivo.

Palladium nanoparticles supported on a titanium dioxide cellulose composite (PdNPs@TiO2-Cell) for ligand-free carbon-carbon cross coupling reactions

Jadhav, Sanjay,Jagdale, Ashutosh,Kamble, Santosh,Kumbhar, Arjun,Salunkhe, Rajshri

, p. 3406 - 3420 (2016/01/25)

Well-dispersed non-spherical PdNPs with a diameter of 39-45 nm supported on a TiO2-cellulose composite (PdNPs@TiO2-Cell) can be synthesized by a simple and clean route. The catalyst was well characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, EDS, and TEM techniques. The PdNPs have good dispersity on the TiO2-Cell support. This results in excellent catalytic activities for the synthesis of biphenyls, acrylates, acetylenes and prochiral ketones using low Pd loading (1 mol%) at comparatively low temperature. The effects of the nature and amount of bases, nature of solvents, amount of catalyst and the reaction temperature on the activity of PdNPs@TiO2-Cell were thoroughly investigated. The catalyst showed at least four times reusability without decrease in catalytic activity.

Arenediazonium salts as electrophiles for the oxidative addition of gold(i)

Asomoza-Solís, Eric Omar,Rojas-Ocampo, Jonathan,Toscano, Rubén Alfredo,Porcel, Susana

supporting information, p. 7295 - 7298 (2016/06/09)

Arenediazonium salts generated in situ from anilines have been found for the first time to efficiently oxidize [AuCl(L)] (L = SMe2, PPh3) complexes in DMSO as a solvent, under thermal conditions. The structure of the [AuArCl2(L)] complexes formed has been confirmed by X-ray diffraction analyses. These complexes have been used as intermediates, in a one pot cross-coupling reaction of anilines with silver acetylides.

A Merrifield resin supported Pd-NHC complex with a spacer(Pd-NHC@SP-PS) for the Sonogashira coupling reaction under copper- and solvent-free conditions

Jadhav, Sanjay N.,Kumbhar, Arjun S.,Mali, Sawanta S.,Hong, Chang Kook,Salunkhe, Rajashri S.

, p. 2333 - 2341 (2015/03/18)

Synthetic applications of a polymer supported air-stable palladium NHC complex with a spacer (catalyst 6, Pd-NHC@SP-PS) and without a spacer (catalyst 7, Pd-NHC@PS) have been studied for the Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction. The catalysts were prepared

Pd doped SiO2 nanoparticles: An efficient recyclable catalyst for Suzuki, Heck and Sonogashira reactions

Kotadia, Deepali A.,Patel, Urmila H.,Gandhi, Sahaj,Soni, Saurabh S.

, p. 32826 - 32833 (2014/08/18)

Palladium doped silica (Pd/SiO2) mesoporous material was synthesized via the sol-gel route using the P123 triblock copolymer as a structure directing agent. Pd/SiO2 was efficiently used as a catalyst for Suzuki, Heck and Sonogashira reactions under microwave irradiation. The catalyst exhibited high activity for all the coupling reactions and can be recycled nine times without a significant loss in its catalytic activity.
