The invention relates to a preparation method of a halogen-substituted pyridylamine compound, particularly to a preparation method of 4-amino-2,6-dichloropyridine, wherein 2,6-dihydroxy isonicotinic acid is used as a raw material and is subjected to chlorination reaction, Curtius rearrangement or further amine protection group removal to obtain the product.
